RIP Max

7.20.2008 • in the evening

We lost our beloved dog Max on Thursday evening.  He has been undergoing treatments for heart worms and unfortunately his old body just couldn’t take the final stage.  He was such a sweet ‘old man’ as I liked to call him.

Rest in Peace buddy.  We loved you and we will certainly miss you.

Giving it up

7.12.2008 • in the early morning

As you’ve all noticed (all 2 of you who still come here) I have not been posting here much.  I simply don’t have interest in it any longer.  Life changes and it has changed me.

So I’ll be closing this blog in the very near future.  Thank you to all who read and visit.

I’ll still be around via email and some other sites.  Maybe one day I’ll start blogging again.

Thank you.

wii would like to play

6.14.2008 • in the late morning

My kids don’t know this...but sometime today, FEDEX is delivering a wii system and 2 games.  I was able to order them 2 days ago at CircuitCity.com and wasn’t expecting them until the middle of next week.

I’m pretty excited myself smile

Recommend some games!  I have wii party and Mario Party coming…

Lots have happened in my world lately and its made me do some thinking. I’ll post more later on that.  We are all ok though so no worries there.

Happy Saturday!

More Storms

6.02.2008 • in the evening

Our area was hit with more storms over the weekend.  We live in Virginia so it’s not like we are in tornado alley....however we sure have had some nasty storms.  A few weeks ago a tornado did blow through (within a few miles from my house).

Yesterday’s storm is being called a ”microburst”. Nonetheless, it knocked out our power for over 6 hours last night and did a lot of damage to our area.  Thankfully I’m married to an electrician, so we had power (thank you generator).  Our neighbors were jealous wink

Some photos of damage:

Do you see how big that tree is??  And that is a block of sidewalk pulled up like it was cardboard.

Back to work for me...we’re swamped with calls!
