I’ve been so busy lately I realized that I had not even posted. 

The boy’s ankle is getting better everyday.  He’s just walking with a limp.  Did I mention that on the day he hurt his ankle he got his report card?  Honor Roll! W00T!  5 A’s and 3 B’s.  Way to go Son! I knew you could (and I bet you did too!)

Miss Bri is back to her old self too after her 24 hour sickies.  She is a funny child and never ceases to amaze me or make me laugh.  She is hard headed though...I’ll blame that trait on her father.

Work has me SUPER busy. And on top of that, I am on vacation next week so I’m trying to wrap up some things.  I did some checking on my retirement a few days ago.  I can retire in just 11 short years...with FULL benefits.  I’ll have over 32 years of service.  Amazing huh?  I don’t want to think about that right now because although its a hell of a goal to work towards, it also means I’ll be getting older and I refuse to grow up just yet.

Well I’m off to throw yet another load of laundry in the machine.  I think I’ll watch me some My name is Earl since I just got season one on DVD today.

Miss Brianna is feeling much better.  Thanks for all of her well wishes.  She went back to her sitter’s and I went back to work.  At least for a while.  I got a call from the school that the boy had injured his ankle during PE.  So the Hubby picked him up from school and brought him home where I later picked him up and took him to the ER.  I’m very relieved to report that it’s not broken, just sprained which is what we figured anyway.  There is no school tomorrow and he doesn’t have PE for a week.  He’s hobbling around on crutches which of course is cool to him.  He should be ok in a few days.

I’ll be so glad when this week is over!  A nice quiet Friday would be nice...but somehow I doubt that...it never is at work.

I’m at home with Brianna today. She was up all night throwing up   Seems to be better now.  Four other kids from her daycare are sick too (got sick last night or got sick at her house and their mom had to pick them up).  I’m tired of washing bed clothes and towels and scrubbing bathrooms LOL

I’m TIRED!  I slept less than she did and she only slept for about 2 hours last night.  Amazingly she doesn’t act like she’s exhausted.  She never gets cranky or whiny when she’s tired.  She’s playing with Legos now lol

Well I’m off to fold some clothes and open a few windows since it’s FINALLY not raining and warming up a little.
