So I’m channel surfing earlier and lo and behold the Wizard of Oz comes on TCM.  I cannot remember the last time I watched this movie all the way through. 

I’m taping it so Brianna can watch it when she gets home.

The Lion gets on my nerves a bit. 

Gotta go follow the yellow brick road. ttfn.

My daughter is at Nanny’s until tomorrow morning.  I could be taking advantage of that and be out shopping or getting a pedicure or something. But no.  I’m at home and quite honestly I’m ready to curl up on the couch and fall asleep.  Bah.

Don’t you love the innocence of a child?  Brianna is a big talker.  Has a HUGE imagination.  She can entertain herself for hours with her Barbie’s or doll house people. 

She just came in here to say:

Her:  Mommy...tomorrow when you pick me up can you take me to Toys Rus (not Toys R Us but toysrus) and get me the skating game (I have no idea what she’s talking about, but I’m sure it’s something she has seen on TV) because I really want it.

Me:  Ok Brianna, we’ll see.

Her:  Ok Mommy, thank you.

She accepts that as my answer when she asks me something.  Can I have a snack later?  We’ll see.  Can we go over to Grandma’s tonight?  We’ll see.  Can I have the 3,000 toys I ask for every day that I see on TV?  We’ll see. 

So far so good.  She hasn’t figured out that “we’ll see” usually means no.

Another long day at work.  Glad tomorrow is Wednesday...one more day closer to Friday. Woo.  I’m off Monday.  Double Woo.

I can’t believe I have gone a whole day without feeling sick and my stomach not hurting.  (I hope I just didn’t jinx myself).  Hopefully I’m better after last week’s bug.

My Mom told me “make sure you watch Oprah today”. She knows I tape it and watch it after I get home.  “Dr. Oz is on there talking with men about their *whisper*penis”.  Yay.  She knows I’m a freak like that.

I’m so jealous of those who are having a blast in Vegas right now.  I wish I was there too! :cry:  Maybe next year.  In the meantime, Misty, Shelly, Smizzo, Friglet and all you other ladies have fun and win big! 

I’m thinking I want a new digital camera.  Give me some suggestions.  I’d like something with a decent zoom and at least 7mp.
